MANUSCRIPT
Manuscript should be typed with double line spacing on good
quality paper with good margin and one side only.
The text should not exceed 5000 words (inclusive of areas
for tables and illustrations etc.)
All headings in the text should be placed to the left.
Primary headings in capital letters, secondary headings in
italics. Foot notes are not permitted. Words to be set in
italics should be underlined.
The papers should be accompanied with short informative
abstract not exceeding 200 words.
Abstract to be typed in a separate page.
Manuscript already published or sent for publication
elsewhere, should not be submitted. Similarly, when a
manuscript is in editor’s file, it should not be sent
elsewhere for publication.
Acceptance of manuscript for publication is based on its
assessment by reviewers.
Instructions for copy editing should be submitted
separately.
Two copies of the manuscript complete with all
illustrations, tables, photographs (original) etc. should be
sent by registered post to the editor. Please also send the
manuscript in CD Form.
ILLUSTRATIONS
Should be in black on white drawing or tracing paper.
Illustration should be designed so as to stand reduction to
the format of the journal (17 cm x 25 cm)
Metric scale should be included in each diagram. Bar
required on all illustrations.
Line diagrams should be in black water proof ink. Lettering
should be stenciled and be such that they stand reduction.
All illustrations (including photographs) are to be numbered
consecutively.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Photographs constituting a plate should be trimmed into
squares or rectangles and be on glassy paper. Each plate
should be with suitable explanation indicating the
magnification, if any.
TABLES
Each table should have a title.
The place where figures and tables have to be inserted,
should be marked in the margin.
Tables should be typed on separate sheet and numbered.
REFERENCES
Name of the authors and joint authors are to be given.
Name of periodicals is not to be abbreviated.
Name of conference, proceedings and seminars are to be given
in full.
References to unpublished work, if not readily available,
should be avoided.
REPRINTS
Authors are entitled for FREE 25 COPIES of REPRINTS. For
more reprints, order may be placed in advance on payment
basis. |
